Sheet Metal Powder Coating & Finishing

Our on-site fully automated powder coating facility is one of a kind in the North West! We don't outsource any stage of our powder coating process, allowing us to produce high quality painted finishes to prototypes and high volume work alike with a quick turnaround and with full control. As a single source for powder metal coating and wider metal coating services, we keep finishing in-house alongside fabrication and assembly.

We can powder coat an array of sheet metal parts and units in varying sizes. Choosing powder coating for your project over wet paint treatment will not only lower your costs but improve your product's durability and lower your company's impact on the environment. FAQ

Powder coating and metal finishing FAQs

What metal coating services do you offer?

We run a fully automated in-house powder coating line covering pre-treatment, electrostatic application and curing, plus access to trusted partners for plating, polishing, galvanising, wet painting, shot blasting and anodising. Managing the whole process under one roof gives you a single point of contact and full control of supply.

What is powder coating and how does it work?

Powder coating is a dry finishing process where electrostatically charged powder is applied to a metal part, then cured in an oven to form a hard, even, durable layer. It produces a tougher, more consistent finish than wet paint with no solvents or hazardous waste.

How durable is a powder coated finish?

Powder coating produces a harder, scratch-resistant and flexible surface with anti-corrosion properties, making it the superior choice for sheet metal parts used in demanding telecoms, retail and industrial environments.

What finishes and colours are available?

We offer gloss, matt, satin and textured finishes in a wide range of colours, using premium paints from AkzoNobel, DuPont and other preferred suppliers, with consistent colour matching across batches.

Can you powder coat large or high-volume batches?

Yes. Because our coating line is on-site and not outsourced, we powder coat parts in varying sizes from prototypes through to high-volume production runs with a quick turnaround and a full inspection process before and after curing.
