What is sheet metal fabrication?
Sheet metal fabrication is the process of turning flat sheet metal into finished parts and products through cutting, punching, bending, welding and finishing. At Constant Group we run every one of these stages in-house, from CAD design through to powder coating and assembly.
What does a sheet metal fabricator do?
A sheet metal fabricator designs and manufactures metal components and assemblies to a customer's specification — laser cutting and punching the flat profile, forming and welding it to shape, then finishing, coating and assembling the final product. As a subcontract fabricator we do this across telecoms, food processing, medical, industrial and retail display sectors.
Where are your sheet metal fabricators based?
Our 80,000ft² facility is in Oldham, Greater Manchester, just off junction 22 of the M60. We supply precision sheet metal parts to customers across Manchester, the North West and the wider UK, with our own delivery fleet.
What materials can you fabricate?
We regularly fabricate mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, zintec, galvanised steel, brass and copper, in thicknesses from 0.5mm up to 20mm depending on the process.
